Tom was a great mentor and friend to me at Lambda Chi Alpha in Whitewater. He was like the on campus Dad to us all. I am 49 now and I still have so many great memories of him and his leadership. He knew when to raise you up and put you in your place when you were out of line. His tireless love and dedication for our local chapter and International chapter is so remarkable it is hard to put it into words. There would not be a chapter at Whitewater today without you Tom. You are now at peace old friend and your light will continue to shine through all of us that loved you. We will continue to light the lamp in your honor. The peace of the Lord be with the entire Boelk family at this difficult time.

Tom was my ultimate "Brother" from my days with Lambda Chi Alpha at UW-Whitewater. He led the fraternity though difficult days and contributed more than most will ever know to the long-term success of the fraternity. Enjoyed being with him at our recent reunion and will miss his kind thoughts and support. May he rest in peace.

Many years ago, in the mid 90's my Fraternity brothers and I would road-trip from Eastern Michigan University to U-W Whitewater for the annual 'Polar Plunge Party' A constant fixture of these experiences would be Tom, always there to welcome strangers with hospitality and brotherhood. His smile was infectious, his leadership of the Lambda Chi Chapter at Whitewater second to none. He always ensured we had a great time, while staying safe. Many years past, I can not recall the names of any of the brothers at Whitewater, but in our chapter reunions, Tom's name always came up as a great brother and example of prefect brotherly love. He will be missed, and the Brothers of Sigma Kappa Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha at Eastern Michigan University will toast in his name.

Tom was a mentor, an advisor, a brother and a friend. Never did he miss an opportunity to highlight someones accomplishment or razz you in a good hearted way. The time and energy he devoted to a bunch of kids who thought we knew it all is a testament to his dedication. Tom had an effect on evrry man who walked through the doors of that house; even if they didnt know it at the time. I will always remember his selfless giving and his guidance. Tom was an example of what every man can aspire to be. I am glad i recently got to spend a whole day talking to Tom. Ill have that memory forever. In ZAX, Jeff "Gutter"Gutowski LI736

I know losing a loved one is a very hard time to deal with,I have lost my mother and a very close friend. But the way I make it through is grabbing hope from the Bible here at: (Isaiah 26:19)"Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." This prophecy is telling us that one day very soon we will see our loved ones brought back to life in a new world! I can't wait until that day comes, and the same can happen for you if you seek Jehovah God to see his promises unfold......

Unfortunately, we are all prisoners of death, there is no escape. But there is a hope we can hold onto from God's Word the Bible at:(Isaiah 25:8)"He will swallow up death forever. And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." This prophecy tells us that one day we will see our loved ones brought back to life in a new world, and there will be no more tears of pain. Please seek Jehovah God to see his promises unfold....
