Dear Lemberger Family, Our family is So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. It is with great fondness that we remember living across the alley from you when so many of us were in grade school together. Our parents were great friends and had so many friendships with others who were/are close to your family. Our Mom is sorry that she is unable to get to her funeral due to freezing rain in Northern Wisconsin. She is, however, so very grateful that she was able to visit with your Mom this last fall when she and Bernie Hoeller went over there. Our family reminisces very frequently on the oh so fun times that we had playing as children - after dark games were always a hit as was 'tin can alley', hide and seek, etc We loved them all. Your Mom was always so welcoming whenever we would come over while playing with one of the kids. She was such a beautiful lady - I know you will miss her very much, but she is now wrapped in the loving arms of God and at a peaceful rest. My Mom told me that your Mom prayed for a peaceful death - how blessed was she to have her prayers answered. With heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire Porten family. Bonny Porten

Please accept our sympathy. Cousin, Kathy ( Bink ) Braunreiter called this morning with the news of your mother's passing. I met your Mom when I attended Char Lemberger funeral in Madison not long ago. I asked her who the man was who walked into the church. It was her son! She was such a nice lady. I don't know any of you except Barbara with whom I was a "flower girl" at cousin Jerry Braeger's ordination. I'm Frank Kuemmel's daughter, Marilyn. May she rest in Peace!
