Virginia Mary Siehr

Age 77. Passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. She was born July 22, 1945 to Edward and Florence (nee Stoiber) Siehr. Preceded in death by her sister Elsbeth Germanson and brother Phillip Siehr. Treasured sister of Claudia (George) Porter and Kristi (George) Roenning. Very special aunt to three generations of nieces and nephews.

She was very active at her parish, St. Pius X, serving for many years on the liturgy team. Also, an active volunteer for political elections and events. She loved Chai tea, cheered on the Brewers, was skilled at cross stitchery, very fond of animals especially the wild ones, knew every bus route in the city, enjoyed all family celebrations and faithfully sent birthday cards to everyone! A kind and generous woman who never complained about her limitations or losses. Her final message was a gift to all of us. She said “I love my family.”

The celebration of her life will be on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2506 North Wauwatosa Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI. Visitation beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Wilderness Conservation Society, Wisconsin Humane Society or Green Peace.
