William “Itch” “Bill” Wagner

Welcomed by Jesus on Monday, June 4, 2018, age 86. Beloved husband of Carol for 53 years. Warmhearted father of Sue (Charlie) Gartzke and Patty (Jim) Bettendorf. Proud grandpa of Jessie, Parker, Ellie, Carson, Kay, and Lucas. Further survived by his special sister Dorothy McVeigh and many special relatives and friends.

Bill retired from BMO/M&I/ Wauwatosa State Bank at the age of 62. He has enjoyed his retirement filled with traveling, spending time with family and friends, wintering in The Villages of Florida. He was a member of the Golden K Kiwanis Club of Elm Grove, served on many committees and church organizations and was proud to have read to the blind for more than 10 years. He had many special friends, including special buddy, Leonardo Ballante from Italy.

A gathering will be held at Hales Corners Lutheran Church, 12300 West Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130 on Friday, June 8, 2018, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Hales Corners Lutheran Church Missions, Golden K Kiwanis Club of Elm Grove or Angels Grace Hospice.
